The National Irrigation Corporation's Water Entitlement Register (NICWER) is a central point of access to water entitlement information of participating irrigation organisations. Each entitlement is searchable by a unique code called a WEN that is provided with every entitlement issued.
The register includes seven irrigation organisations from all over Australia. Currently the register stores entitlements totalling 3200 Gigalitres of water broken into 10000 separate entitlements.
A search from the register produces information on who owns the entitlement, how much the entitlement is for and any encumbrances, charges or mortgages that have been registered over the entitlement. An example search is available to see the information that is provided. If you require any further information on a specific entitlement or the owners the contact details of the irrigation corporation are provided on every search.
